Incidnet: Borean Tundra "Blood Pool" on land

While farming for "Arctic Fur" in the "Borean Tundra" I managed to somehow get a pool of blood to spawn on land. From past experience these "Pool of Blood" do not spawn on land only on water. There certainly was no water anywhere near where this incident occured. Worth a mention.

Un'Goro Incident

While mining in Un'Goro Crater I discovered that the Plated Stegodon MOBS do not get on with the trees in the area. I thought it was a little amusing so I posted the screen shot above.

Western Crystal Pylon

> Crystal Ward
    Strengthen the protection you have against physical damage
    10 Red power crystal
    10 Green power crystal

> Crystal Yield
    Weaken an enemy's defenses
    10 Red power crystals
    10 Blue power crystals

Northern Crystal Pylon

> Crystal Restore
    Used to heal yourself or your allies
    10 Yellow power crystal
    10 Green power crystal

> Crystal Charge
    Used to create a large explosion that can inflict damage on your enemies
    10 Red power crystal
    10 Yellow power crystal

Eastern Crystal Pylon

> Crystal Force
    Used to increase your spirit

Achievement Gained: I Smell A Giant Rat

Today I have been working hard trying to gain two particular achievements, these are "Old Ironjaw" and "I smell a giant rat". I have successfully fished up the giant rat from The Underbelly located under Dalaran City.
From this achievement you also gain a Giant Sewer Rat Companion.

Simone the Inconspicuous and Precious NPCs

While out mining in Ungoro Crater I came across two random NPC characters known as Simone the Inconspicuous and her companion pet Precious as shown in the image below. Simone seems at one with nature and appears to express her views on how beautiful the world is around us. I think this one of Blizzards attempts at reminding players that there is a real world outside of World of Warcraft. The second screenshot below shows the location where I found this mysterious NPC character and companion. Enemy MOBS do not seem to attack these characters.

Blizzard Addon Tutorials: Hello World & Show Me The Money

I have gone ahead and re-activated my World of Warcraft account after having some time away from the game. I am very interesting in building a website with details on items of the game and so I will be creating an addon for the game which collects the information needed to expand on the topic. I have contacted Blizzard about this and they dont have a problem with me doing this in fact they have given me further inspiration to go ahead and expand on it.

I have currently been through Blizzards tutorial "Hello World" and the language used is a form of Javascript so far with an xml feed. I am familiar with the basics of javascript due to being in the website design and coding business myself. Its very simple so-far.

Error with Show Me The Money Advanced Addon Tutorial & How To fix it

If you have like me been doing Blizzards own addon tutorial known as Show Me The Money, you will experience the

"Error Money Type Not Set"

This is because Blizzard have updated their variables in the game but not updated their tutorials.
To resolve this issue simple replace the line:  

MoneyFrame_SetType("STATIC");  

With 

MoneyFrame_SetType(self, "STATIC");

 

found in the ShowMeTheMoney.xml, remember to reload it after making the change by using /script ReloadUI(); in game.
