Mists of Pandaria: Increase of Pet size

Remember when you tamed that massive cat which immediately shrunk to normal size once you caught it. 

Well Blizzard seem to have got the message that if its BIG it should stay BIG!

Here is a screenshot from Mists of Pandaria of my IceSaber which is now larger than before. Yes it is really that much bigger!

Mists of Pandaria: Dusk Stalker - A new type of kitty

Today I have been playing World of warcraft: Mists of Pandaria BETA new quests and came across a really cool looking new type of kitty. They are a large cat, known as Dusk Stalkers. So much realism and so much beauty enjoy the screenshots. 

Mists of Pandaria: Panda Monk Starting Area

So Mists of Pandaria BETA has not yet fully downloaded to my MacBook Pro yet but while waiting I was able to create my first character, and took a quick look at the starting area for Panda Monks. 

As you can tell from the screenshots below the area is very busy on the test server and you start in a martial arts training area. 

I have BETA access to Mists of Pandoria

I have been playing world of warcraft for over 5 years now and have purchased the Annual Pass earlier this year. Today I was happy to find a REAL email from Blizzard saying that I have been given a BETA tester position for their new and upcoming expansion pack "Mists of Pandaria".

I am currently installing the game client which will take quite a long time even with my 10mb Broadband connection as its round about 20 gb in size.

Spotlight Mount: Spectral Gryphon

I wanted to let people know that there is a new Mount in the World of Warcraft.
This is the Spectral Gryphon.

The Spectral Gryphon is only obtainable by referring an old player back to the game via the new and updated Scroll of Resurrection. It is only available to Alliance players. I have only currently seen one Spectral Gryphon and so wished to share this with the SimplyWarcraft.com community.

Its basically a Gryphon as you can see with a Spectral Aura around it. Looks pretty cool no matter how you look at it, and considering few people manage to get an old player back to playing the game they are and will be pretty rare to see in the World of Warcraft.

First set of Diablo III BETA Keys to be released 6th March.

Well Blizzard have announced that the first place for users to acquire Diablo III BETA keys is not through the "Annual Pass" for World of Warcraft, but through a exhibition of digital technology known as CeBIT 2012.

CeBIT is a exhibition for digital goods and is held in Hannover, Germany each year. Blizzard are piloting the first gameplay of Diablo III at CeBIT, and will also allow people who attend the opportunity of "Winning" Diablo III BETA keys so they can play it at home.

 I know for a fact that there is no way on this Earth that I will be able to head down south, across the English Channel to Germany for this annual event.

CeBIT will be held on the 6th March 2012 - which is when the Diablo III BETA keys will start being released to the lucky folks who manage to get there.

My initial thoughts on this and mental statement was "what a con! - Not even BlizzCon!"
Looks like we may be waiting for some time!

Heart of the Aspects: Featured Mount

With the poor attempt of Blizzards 7 year anniversary they decided to release a golden glowing dragon mount for players to purchase for £17.00.

Personally I am a sucker for buying mounts from the Blizzard Store and this mount I am not an exception and chose to purchase it a couple days ago.

The mount itself is very pretty in my opinion (the option of a girl) and a great way to celebrate the Chinese new year of the dragon. Although a late addition for the 7 year world of Warcraft anniversary its a pretty and cool mount. Shame so many people actually have it.

Storm Peaks Rare: Skoll

After 4 years of looking for this rare spirit beast wolf I eventually gave up. However today while killing level 80 beasts for the Darkmoon Faire quest I spotted him wandering out the corner of my eye. I couldn't believe it.


So after trapping him in a ice trap and taming him with "Beast Mastery" talent enabled I finally caught this elusive rare and claimed him as my own.

Darkmoon Faire: Tauren Chieftains Concert

While out in the Darkmoon Faire I heard an announcement regarding a concert starting in 15 minutes, this gave me time enough to finish what I was doing and head down to the staging area.

Basically it was a Tauren Rock band known as the "Tauren Chieftains" and is highly entertaining and worth 5 minutes of your time to watch. Near the end my character and another player decided to stand next to the drummer dancing.
